Sandra Anfang is a Northern California poet, teacher, editor, and artist. Her poems have been published in Rattle, The New Verse News, The MacGuffin, Spillway, and numerous other online and print journals. Her poetry collections include Looking Glass Heart (Finishing Line Press, 2016), Road Worrier: Poems of the Inner and Outer Landscape (Finishing Line Press, 2018), and Xylem Highway (Main Street Rag, 2019). She has been nominated for a Best Short Fictions award, Best of the Net, and a Pushcart Prize. In 2021, she earned third place in the Prose Poem division of the Soul-Making Keats contest and second place in the San Francisco International Haiku contest. She is founder and host of the monthly series, Rivertown Poets (established in 2013), and a poetry teacher in the public schools. Her poetry and visual art can be seen at sandeanfangart.com.
